About Us

After serving years in the military it was time to take my time and spend it elsewhere. 

Time to take that passion and drive to build something. 

I left the military to take care of my two children, then 2 and 4.

That is when I founded Big Bear Lake Gear. Now we are here to try and continue serving the people of the USA, and the world. 

You see, there are good people everywhere.  Those that love the outdoors, love good, love whiskey, and yes even love animals and shooting...  Really.

 

 

Not to get to out there, but these things are NOT mutually exclusive.  You can love animals and love meat.  We as people can advocate for more responsible practices that are less harmful overall.

 

Since we believe that God gave us life and that we are to use it, be responsible for it, and be wise stewards of this Earth, we try to offer the most sustainable goods we can.

 

We are doing this by finding great artists and manufacturers. These folks work with us in an effort to make awesome products at competitive prices.

 

So whether you are out on the boat having fun, in town for dinner, curled up on the couch, on the range, or simply kicking your feet up, having a drink, and enjoying life, we want you to have the gear that keeps you happy.

 

We truly hope that you enjoy your life and time here on this beautiful Earth God created.
